Scripps Home Health Care offers quality, compassionate health care in the place people are most comfortable - their homes. A wide range of services are provided, including Registered Nurses, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, Registered Dietitians, Home Health Aides and Medical Social Workers.
When a patient is dealing with a complicated or chronic illness and is still undergoing curative treatment, Palliative Care provides a team approach to address the goals of the patient and their family. Goals may address psycho-social well-being, spiritual, physical and clinical options.
When a patient and their family no longer seeks curative treatment, Scripps Hospice Care provides a team of professionals who are highly specialized in ensuring comfort and ease as they follow the patient through the end of life.
Scripps/Rady Pediatric Services
This partnership offers children and their families everything they need to make the most of every moment of every day. Working side-by-side with clinical staff at Rady Children's Hospital, services are meticulously tailored to match each individual situation, providing a unique new dimension of care aimed at addressing medical, emotional and spiritual needs.
Scripps Bereavement Program provides a variety of services to support the bereaved as they manage and process their grief after the death of a loved one.
Scripps/UCSD Hospice Fellowship Program
In partnership with UCSD, Scripps offers doctors hands on training and the ability to specialize in palliative and hospice medicine.
