A Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care
Our vision is to bring together the best oncology facilities, technology, treatments and caregivers, working in unison, to support the healing of each patient.
The cancer center will be located in a new state-of-the-art, three-story facility between Fourth and Fifth Streets, across from Scripps Mercy Hospital. The new center will include two radiation oncology rooms wtih next-generation linear accelerators, the Woltman Family Infusion Center, clinic space and medical offices. Patient support services, including palliative care and integrative medicine, as well as our graduate medical education and research programs will be housed here.
The cancer care program will integrate high-tech services with high-touch care. The interior spaces will be built to accommodate the latest technologies and designed to impart a sense of patient wellness and comfort in all dimensions - mind, body and spirit. Additionally, a serene, roof-top garden will provide a tranquil retreat for patients and families.
The total cost to complete the cancer center is estimated at $50 million. Philanthropy will contribute $25 million to the capital campaign and $10 million to a program endowment. It is the generosity and support of our community that will bring this vision to reality.
